Reservation Confirmation and Cancellation Policy
Reservations during blackout dates are subject to full payment at the time of booking.
Guest’s reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the credit card form and processing of the 50% deposit.
Reservations within 14 days of check-in dates: Full amount of the cost of the stay is due upon reservation confirmation.
Cancellations must be requested in writing to the Stirrup House Property Manager.

Reservations during blackout dates are non-refundable.
21 days prior to check-in: Reservation deposit is refundable up to 21 days prior to check-in. Any cancellations after this up to 15 days before check in will result in a 50% refund of the deposit.
14 days prior to check-in: Reservation deposit is not refundable passed 14 days prior to check-in.
7 days prior to check-in: Full cost of stay will be applied.
Cancellations must be communicated in writing with the Stirrup House Property Manager.
Taxes: 6% resort tax and 7% sales tax will be applied.
Per City of Miami Ordinance 14014, photographic identification (ID) is required for the person registering with The Stirrup House. Identification must include name, age, and address of the person registering. Please email a copy of your ID to the Property Manager prior to your arrival.

Travel Logistics for your Trip
Check-in time is 3 pm. To make arrangements for check-in, please advise on your estimated time of arrival at least 24 hours in advance. If you are arriving by car service, you can be dropped off directly in front of the house located at 3242 Charles Ave, Miami, FL 33133. If you have your own vehicle, please see parking instructions below.
Reserved parking for guests
The Stirrup House offers two reserved parking spots for guests in a parking garage next door. The garage is located at 3225 Franklin Ave, Miami, FL 33133. When arriving please ring the bell at the garage entry. A security guard will direct you where to park and meet you at your car. Keyless entry will be provided for the garage and elevator upon arrival.
Check-out time is 11 am. If you require a later checkout please advise and we will do our best to accommodate you. Late checkouts cannot be guaranteed.
To ensure the comfort of all guests we do not allow smoking inside The Stirrup House. If smoking outside please dispose of your tobacco products in the provided receptacles. If the presence of smoke is detected inside the house, a $125 cleaning fee will be charged.
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to The Stirrup House premises or property caused by you or any persons in your party (whether or not staying at The Stirrup House) during your stay. The Stirrup House reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered by The Stirrup House as a result of the aforesaid. Regardless, The Stirrup House further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice. Any items lost, stolen or damaged will also be charged to your credit card.
No pets allowed on property or inside house.
If additional linens or amenities are needed during your stay, please contact security between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The Garden is a shared space between the Stirrup House and Ariete Hospitality Group’s properties. As a guest of The Stirrup House, you are allowed garden access if available. Scheduled Garden events may occur, in which case the event is given garden priority. Noise from events must cease at 11:00 pm, per City of Miami code enforcement.
No outdoor noise is allowed after 11 p.m. The Garden area may be maintained during your stay, this work will not be done prior to 9:00 am.
The maximum occupancy of the Stirrup House and the Garden (Upon availability) is 10 guests.
Garden gathering policy
Stirrup House guests’ use of the Garden is not guaranteed and based on availability. Gathering and off-site food and beverages is authorized for up to 10 guests. Above 10 guests, gathering on the Garden is considered an Event and arrangements for setup and food and beverage service must be coordinated with the Property Manager and Ariete Hospitality Group’s event management.
Release from liability
Registered guests, and all persons accompanying registered guests, hereby accept responsibility for their personal property and safety and irrevocably release and hold harmless The Stirrup House, its affiliates, associates, representatives, and rental property owners from any liability whatsoever arising from loss, damage, or personal injury of any severity due to theft or accident while on the premises or in the vicinity of rented lodging.
Per City of Miami Ordinance 14014, CCTV cameras are operational and recording entrances, exits, parking areas and open-air breezeways. No CCTV camera shall be specifically set to record a bedroom door.
Reservations made for these dates are subject to non-cancellation policies. The Backout date specifications will be indicated on your reservation details.
